Circular Teak Danish Coffee Table

 

I’ve always loved a generous coffee table, especially one with a dish shape – which is why this circular teak Danish piece immediately caught my eye. We usually focus on American mid-century finds, but occasionally we discover special European pieces like this in the US and bring them home.

 

We imported this table along with other furniture and gave it careful attention:

• Reattached the legs properly

• Hand-polished the top to perfection
  Our approach is gentle restoration – preserving that wonderful vintage character while ensuring it’s ready for decades more use.

 

The table bears a “Made in Denmark” stamp, though we haven’t identified the exact maker. Our best guesses include:

• Larsen & Bender Madsen

• Arne Vodder

• Kurt Ostervig
  It’s clearly a quality piece showing exceptional craftsmanship. If you recognize the designer, do let us know!

• Design: Minimalist with that lovely dish-shaped lip

• Material: Durable teak that’s aged beautifully over 60 years
